The starting eleven of FC Barcelona has appreciated during the first half of the 2024/25 season. Despite the dip in performance between November and December, the team is valued at around €660M on Transfermarkt.
FC Barcelona finished the first half of the 2024/25 season with a significant drop in LaLiga, with only one victory in their last seven matches. However, the team's poor performance in the tournament did not affect the market value of the regular starters. According to the specialized website 'Transfermarkt', none of the regulars in Hansi Flick's lineup saw their value decrease in recent weeks, unlike Real Madrid, where 14 out of 23 first-team players have dropped in price.
Currently, the Barça squad is valued at €1.02 billion, while the starting eleven is worth €660 million of the total squad value. With an average age of 24.7 years, Lamine Yamal is currently the most expensive player in the blue and garnet XI (and in the squad), with a value of €180 million. The '19' has already surpassed Kylian Mbappé in the first half of the season (€160M) and is on track to become the most valuable player in the world by 2025.
At the moment, only Erling Haaland and Vinicius Jr. (€200M) surpass the player from Mataró, who shares second place with Jude Bellingham (also valued at €180M). Meanwhile, Iñigo Martínez has the lowest market value in the Barça lineup, at €5 million. He is followed by Robert Lewandowski (€15M), both affected by age (33 and 36 years, respectively).
When compared to what would theoretically be Carlo Ancelotti's starting eleven at Real Madrid this season, the Barça lineup is worth €307M less than that of 'La Casa Blanca' (€967 million). However, with Dani Carvajal and Éder Militao out for the rest of the season, this valuation varies slightly. Below, we review the 1x1 of the starting XI for Barça in the 2024/25 season concerning their valuation on Transfermarkt.
Iñaki Peña - €10M
The Alicante goalkeeper increased his value by a couple of million euros due to the injury of Marc-André ter Stegen. So far, he has played 19 matches in all competitions (13 as a starter), conceding 22 goals and keeping a total of 6 clean sheets between La Liga and Champions. Despite the signing of Wojciech Szczęsny, Flick has confirmed him as the starter.
Jules Koundé - €60M
The Frenchman also increased his value by €5M during the first half of the 2024/25 season, where he has established himself as one of the best right-backs in the world. 1 goal and 6 assists in 25 matches (2,065 minutes) summarize his statistical contribution so far this season, where he has only missed the Barça XI a couple of times.
Pau Cubarsí - €70M
The youth player has established himself as a starter at Barça following the injuries of Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen. At just 17 years old, his value skyrocketed to €70 million (he was worth €40M in August) after appearing in the 25 matches the team has played this season (he was only a substitute against Villarreal and Leganés).
Iñigo Martínez - €5M
Like Cubarsí, the Basque player also took advantage of the absences of Araujo and Christensen to settle into Flick's XI. Iñigo has been a true leader in the Barça defense, being the player with the most minutes played in the first half of the season (2,136'). So far, he has maintained his market value (5 'kilos') compared to last summer.
Alejandro Balde - €50M
Balde also increased his market value by €10 million, despite having left some doubts about his performance during the last two months of competition. Indispensable on the left, the '3' has 4 assists in 22 matches (1,662 minutes).
Marc Casadó - €30M
Casadó has been the great revelation of Barça in the 2024/25 season. After the unfortunate injury of Marc Bernal in August, the 21-year-old player took over the pivot position, establishing himself as Pedri's ideal partner in the Barça midfield. This allowed him to double his market value (now worth €30M) in the first half of the season, where he has 5 assists in 22 matches (1,727 minutes).
Pedri González - €100M
Pedri also increased his valuation on Transfermarkt by €20 million after a brilliant first half of the season. The Tenerife native has finally put his injuries behind him and has been able to play all of Barça's matches so far. 4 goals and 3 assists in 25 matches (1,902 minutes) say little about the performances he has delivered in both La Liga and Champions.
Dani Olmo - €60M
The Terrassa native had a spectacular start to the season, scoring in his first three official matches. After suffering a muscle injury at the end of September, he has not shone in attack again, but he remains one of Flick's trusted men. Compared to the summer, Olmo's market value remains unchanged (€60M).
Lamine Yamal - €180M
Lamine has met all the expectations generated after his brilliant Eurocup with Spain, completing a spectacular first half of the season. The winger is, at 17 years old, the great star of a Barça team that suffers more than necessary without the '19' on the field. Despite suffering two ankle injuries, he is the team leader in assists with 12 and also has 6 goals in 21 matches (1,700 minutes).
Raphinha - €80M
Raphinha has also cleared doubts about his future at Barça, being captain and leader for most of the first half of the 2024/25 season. The Brazilian had a spectacular October and is the second top scorer of the team with 17 goals in 25 matches (2,064') in which he has also provided 10 assists. His numbers clearly surpass what he achieved in the previous two seasons, which is why his market value has increased by €20M.
Robert Lewandowski - €15M
The Pole has maintained his previous valuation on Transfermarkt after a great first half of the season in which he scored 23 goals in 24 matches (1,963 minutes). Although he decreased his offensive production in December, Lewandowski is still in the 'race' for the Golden Boot and will continue to be the reference point for the blue and garnet team for the rest of the season.
