Finally, FC Barcelona has revealed what will be its third kit for the 2024/25 season. The Catalan team has used its various social media channels to present an audiovisual material showcasing the striking new attire of the Blaugrana team. This new kit, as has been recently discussed, features a striking green color that, according to the club, symbolizes a year of "prosperity, growth, and progress in the fight for equality."

The audiovisual material, with a duration of less than a minute, shows several figures from the Catalan club such as Salma Paralluelo, Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmatí from the women's team, and Fermín López, Jules Koundé, Alejandro Balde, and Iñigo Martínez from the men's section, participating in the promotional video of this unique jersey. This kit presents a series of peculiarities, such as, unlike the first and second kits, this one features a double traditional 'swoosh' by Nike, superimposed to create a three-dimensional sensation, one in maroon and the other in blue.

In addition, the emblem of the American brand will appear vertically flipped, in contrast to the other two kits. Also, it is worth mentioning that unlike the first and second kit, the club crest will not be centered on the jersey but will be placed in its traditional position on the left side, at heart level. Additionally, all details of the other sponsors such as Spotify, Ambilight TV, BIMBO, and UNHCR ACNUR will also be printed in blue.

This third kit will be equipped with Dri-FIT ADV technology, providing mobility, breathability, and ventilation where it is most needed. Each element of the kit has been enhanced using 4D data-driven design methods.

The campaign behind FC Barcelona's third kit

Beyond the visual aspects, as disclosed by FC Barcelona, this jersey is special as it is framed within the 'Together We Rise' campaign, which incorporates the distinct identity, history, and community of each club while celebrating the rise of women's football. It is also important to note that this will only be the third time that Barça uses a kit, other than for the goalkeeper, with a shade of green, the previous instances being the away kit from the 2018/19 season and the third kit of the 2014/15 campaign.
