A few hours after the end of a very busy and complicated transfer market in the offices of FC Barcelona, the Blaugrana club announced through its official media that the president of the club, Joan Laporta, will give the relevant explanations in a press conference. The director will attend the media in an appearance next Tuesday, September 3 at 12:30 p.m. in the Auditori 1899 of the Spotify Camp Nou and news is expected.
And the fact is that the Barcelona fans hope to hear from an authoritative voice the justification for the long list of issues that have been linked to the Blaugrana squad in recent months. From names that were close to the club and have not ended up arriving, such as Nico Williams, Chiesa or Tah, among others, to the controversy generated around the figures used to finalize the registration of some footballers, ultimately taking advantage of Christensen's injury to register Dani Olmo.
The expectation is high around Laporta's appearance before the press. The Blaugrana club was involved in an innumerable amount of rumours that linked it to different situations related to signings and departures, many of them true, others not so much, which is why the appearance of the president will be, at the very least, interesting to learn first-hand what has happened during the last few months at Can Barça.
Will he talk about the agreement with Nike?
Among other issues, it is especially expected that the director will speak about the renewal of the contract with Nike.
