REGISTRATION OF DANI OLMO
La Liga and the RFEF do not yield with Dani Olmo: Barça will exhaust the last option
FC Barcelona will request a precautionary measure from the Higher Sports Council (CSD) and Laporta meets with Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor to convey reassurance
Finally, La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation have backed down and have not approved the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, who have not had a federation registration since January 1. In a statement from the monitoring commission where both organizations are present, they insist that the regulations do not allow the re-registration of a player who has lost their registration, despite the fact that the application of this rule is not clearly applicable to the two Barça players.
The next step that FC Barcelona will take is to elevate the request to the Higher Sports Council (CSD) requesting a precautionary measure to order the registration of the players. They will do this on Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday. The intervention of the CSD will be the last sporting avenue that Barça can utilize. If resolved quickly, it would mean that Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor would be available for Hani Flick for the Supercopa de España.
This Saturday, Barça expressed "its disagreement with the notified decision" and confirmed that it will proceed with the appropriate appeal to the Higher Sports Council (CSD). Ultimately, if the request for precautionary measures does not proceed, they will have to resort to ordinary justice. Inexplicably, all this is happening while Barça has indeed recovered the 1:1 rule in financial fair play and can enter the transfer market without restrictions.
