Marc Casadó has established himself as a key piece for the present and future of Hansi Flick at FC Barcelona. The midfielder managed to secure a spot in the starting eleven of the German coach during the first half of the season, and although in recent weeks he has lost prominence due to Frenkie de Jong's advancement, the player remains firm in his desire to succeed wearing the blaugrana jersey.

He confessed this himself in an interview with 'betevé', where he stated that "at La Masia they teach us many values and to have these healthy relationships with competition". The footballer also emphasized that he maintains a "great" relationship with the Dutchman, whom he defined as "a tremendous professional who is performing incredibly".

Far from worrying or feeling uncomfortable about the competition with the blaugrana '21' for a spot in the midfield of Barça, Casadó assured that he is "calm, I trust myself and I am waiting for the opportunity to give my all again. I hope to make my place in the starting eleven again".

Casadó's future at Barça

In a display of maturity unusual for a player of just 21 years, Marc explained his situation by stating that "I am a young player and, like anyone else, you go through ups and downs in the season. I haven't even spent a season in the elite". The midfielder, however, admitted that "I knew this year was an important year to take this step to the first team".

In the same way, Casadó expressed gratitude for "the trust of the coach and all the teammates" and made it clear that his main objective for the rest of the season, besides regaining his place in the starting eleven, is to "round off the figures, which are very good, with titles at the end of the season".

"I wish I could always play for Barça, retire and always be here"

Finally, the footballer made a declaration of love for Barça that will resonate in the hearts of the culés. The player, who has attracted the interest of major clubs across the continent, stated emphatically that "I wish I could always play for Barça, retire and always be here. It is my dream. It is the club of my life".
