In times of crisis like this, the most important thing should be Barca, and the top priority should be the defense of its interests. United, avoiding division and putting aside differences. Once this is overcome, it will be time to ask for explanations and demand accountability.

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The opposition has passed judgment on the management of Joan Laporta at the helm of FC Barcelona, demanding his immediate resignation and warning that otherwise they would activate a motion of censure. It should be stated that the position of all opposing groups deserves the utmost respect and that, logically, they have every right to denounce the current management model of the club.

In the different statements issued, the groups, associations, and platforms have made it clear that they do not share the decisions of the current president and demanded his immediate resignation, warning that if he refuses, all necessary legal mechanisms would be activated. The non-registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor has become a problem that has sparked criticism and even threatens the mandate of Joan Laporta. The confrontation of the azulgrana club against LaLiga and the RFEF is reaching unimaginable levels, and the consequences could be dangerous and unpredictable.

Attacking Laporta is attacking Barça

The management of player registrations is open to criticism, of course, but before judging and condemning the president of FC Barcelona, it is a priority to secure the licenses of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. It is time to prioritize the interests of Barça above all else, and in the midst of a battle against LaLiga, the RFEF, and now the CSD, publicly positioning against Laporta harms the president for sure, but it also harms the institution.

In the midst of this crisis, issuing statements, demanding resignations, and threatening with motions of censure creates an unbearable atmosphere of tension, strains the club, and worst of all, divides the Barça supporters. Is it really worth risking FC Barcelona by pitting supporters against each other? Clearly not, now is not the time for that; now what is needed is to defend the club's interests united, putting everything else aside.

LaLiga and the RFEF are also responsible

Without a doubt, the management of Joan Laporta and his board has failed in many areas and he must take on the share of responsibility that belongs to him, but does anyone doubt that the financial fair play management by LaLiga and Javier Tebas is full of irregularities and difficult-to-explain decisions? All the 1:1 regulations are filled with doubts and questions, with many measures and modifications made on the fly that deserve and demand explanations. The controversies surrounding the RFEF, its new president, and appointments also form part of a scenario under suspicion of a color white that is far from reasonable.

This Tuesday, the Barça will request a precautionary measure from the CSD to be able to register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, but this will not be the only move in the azulgrana club's offices. According to reports from the newspaper Sport, Jordi Farré, a club member and former candidate in the last Barça elections, could present the necessary documentation this Tuesday to convene a motion of censure.

Fortunately, other opposing groups that formed a united front against Laporta would be halting that motion because the timing would not be appropriate. A lack of quorum, then, with the majority of opposition groups, as they believe it is premature. Furthermore, for the motion to succeed, they would need to gather more than 16,000 signatures in ten days, and Barça will not play at home again until the end of January.
