FC Barcelona can now confirm that Fermín López has joined the culé club's training again, after recovering from an injury that kept him out of action for three weeks
Good news for FC Barcelona. This Monday, after three days of rest, the azulgrana team returned to training at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper with the pleasant addition of a luxury incorporation for Hansi Flick, who will help strengthen their midfield. In this training session, the 21-year-old midfielder, Fermín López, completed the session normally.
It is important to remember that the El Campillo native was in the process of recovering from a muscular injury in the anterior rectus of his right thigh, which he suffered during a training session on September 17. At that time, Barcelona estimated that his recovery time would be approximately three weeks.
Fortunately, for Barça, the culé midfielder has met the forecast in terms of his recovery time. Although his medical discharge has not yet been officially confirmed, the fact of seeing him training physically at full performance and regularly, at the same level as his teammates, suggests that it is only a matter of time before he receives medical clearance and is available for the next FC Barcelona match on Sunday, October 20 against Sevilla at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys (Montjuïc).
What about Dani Olmo and Gavi?
With this, the culé team receives its first great news regarding players who could return for the match against Sevilla. In other cases, for example, with Dani Olmo, although he did not participate in the training session, as he is doing differentiated work, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, it seems that his medical discharge is imminent.
In the case of Pablo Gavi, the situation is similar. Although he has not yet received medical clearance, he has been training at the same pace as the group with a noticeable intensity. Therefore, it would not be surprising if he is also back for the match against the Sevillians, marking a trilogy of perfect returns for FC Barcelona against the Sevilla team. These three players are highly valuable for call-ups and, of course, to strengthen a midfield that is becoming increasingly attractive and solid, while the team's infirmary is starting to empty more quickly.
