Noah Darvich could be one of the new additions to Hansi Flick's call for Real Sociedad-FC Barcelona. The 19-year-old player trained with the first team this Saturday
Noah Darvich is still waiting for his first big opportunity with the FC Barcelona first team. On Saturday, the German playmaker was one of the new features in the last training session prior to the duel against Real Sociedad, along with Andrés Cuenca and Unai Hernández.
The three were summoned by Hansi Flick in the absence of Lamine Yamal and Dani Olmo, both with serious options of being left out of the eleven in Anoeta. The presence of Pau Cubarsí is also in doubt, although the center-back trained normally before traveling to San Sebastián. Of course, wearing a protective mask.

The one from Mataró, on the other hand, exercised apart from the group in the gym, anticipating possible muscle overload. Although he does not seem to have anything serious, it is likely that Flick will include him in his rotation range. The player from Terrassa, for his part, went home due to a strong general malaise that prevented him from training during the afternoon session.
Noah Darvich could travel to a League match with Barça for the first time
If he is left out of the squad, Olmo could open the door for Darvich, who has not yet been called up by the first team in either the League or the Champions League this season. The international with the German U-19 has a couple of assists in nine games (422 minutes, with five starts) with Barça Atlètic.
The one from Freiburg has not yet traveled with the first team for an official match. The 19-year-old player landed in Catalonia in the summer of 2023 as a star reinforcement for the reserve team, but his adaptation was slower than expected due to some physical setbacks and several calls from the 'mannschaft' youth teams.
However, in 2024/25, Noah has earned a place in Albert Sánchez's lineup and looks ready for his first call-up under Hansi Flick, who has closely followed his performance in the Primera RFEF.
The coach has bet heavily on young players until now, which is why it is likely that Darvich's first big opportunity with Barça is just around the corner. In fact, the playmaker traveled with the team to the preseason in the United States and has already participated in several first team training sessions.
