OFFICIAL! FC Barcelona's jersey numbers for the 2024-2025 season have been defined

Once the transfer market has ended, FC Barcelona has published the numbers that the first team players will wear during the 2024-2025 season. After the first four LaLiga matches have already been played, in which the squad led by Hansi Flick has achieved four victories and remains the sole leader of the standings, the Blaugrana entity has announced the new numbers that the players will wear on their shirts, with no changes compared to what was seen in the league championship matches.

Thus, Dani Olmo, the star signing of the summer window, inherits the number '20' that Sergi Roberto left after ending his time as a Barça player. For his part, Pau Víctor will wear the '18', available after the departure of Oriol Romeu to Girona. However, both signings will not be the only ones to wear a new number, since up to three players who had a reserve team record have gone on to have a first team number.

This is the case of Pau Cubarsí, who took the number '2' used by João Cancelo during his year on loan at Barcelona. Marc Casadó will spend his first season in the first team wearing the number '17' left by Marcos Alonso, while Lamine Yamal will abandon the number '27' and will wear the number '19' which belonged to Vitor Roque last season, following in the footsteps of Lionel Messi, who also wore the number '19' in his first years as a Barça player.

Finally, of the three players who are returning from loan and who will stay with Hansi Flick's team, two will keep the number. Ansu Fati will continue to wear the number '10' that he wore before leaving for Brighton, while Eric Garcia, after his loan to Girona, will wear the number '24' again.
