After scoring the decisive penalty against the Netherlands, Pedri sent a message in 'Barça style' assuring that, despite the fatigue, they will give their all against Osasuna
Pedri González was one of the key figures in Spain's qualification for the Final Four of the Nations League. The FC Barcelona player was not a starter, but he entered the field at Mestalla in the 84th minute and, in addition to taking charge of the midfield for La Roja, he sealed the passage to the next round of the tournament by scoring the decisive penalty against the Netherlands (3-3, 5-4 p.).
"It's nice. Wearing this jersey is already special, but scoring a goal like this is even more so. It wouldn't have been possible without Unai. We are very happy with the qualification," explained the player from Tegueste about his decisive goal from the penalty spot after the match in front of the microphones of 'La 1'.
The midfielder expressed his satisfaction and highlighted a victory that consolidates Luis de la Fuente's team as the best in the world at the moment. "They are a very good team, they wanted to have the ball and every time we scored, they equalized, but well, in the end, we have passed and people are very engaged with this team after the Eurocup. We are very happy, it doesn't matter who comes, we are Spain and we are going for it all," he stated.
Pedri's message before Barça-Osasuna
After analyzing the victory of the Spanish National Team, Pedri sent a message in 'Barça style', reminding that this same week the team plays two crucial matches in Montjuïc to stay at the top of LaLiga. The first of them, the controversial Barça-Osasuna on Thursday, March 27, while on Sunday the 30th they will close the month facing Girona.
"We will give everything to win the League"
A true challenge for the international Barça players, who have undergone significant fatigue during this international break. "We are a bit tired, but we cannot forget that we are the Barça. If it was decided that we have to play on Thursday, we will do it and we will give everything to win the League," stated the Canary player firmly, making it clear that the squad is completely focused on excelling in all competitions.
