Quique Setién joins the coronavirus awareness campaign

The grave sanitary crisis generated by the propagation of the coronavirus has forced to the Government of Spain, chaired by Pedro Sánchez, to decree the state of alarm, something that includes the confinement in his houses of the population with exceptions very clear-cut as it can be the acquisition of goods of first need or the trip to the work.

To avoid that the pandemia follow expanding to steps enlarged, needs the citizen collaboration, that consists in the discipline to fulfil to rajatabla the confinement. The grave situation also has caused the total stop of the sport in Europe and have been a lot of the sportsmen of elite that have done a call to the citizenship so that they respect the measures that have taken from the authorities.

The past Friday, the FC Barcelona joined to the campaign of #YoMeQuedoEnCasa and, during the last days, have been a lot of the footballers of the first staff​ that have joined to her with some messages through his social networks or the ones of the Barcelona club, asking to the people that respect the measures so that this crisis happen the fastest possible.

This same Monday, could see to Ivan Rakitic recording a video from his house, asking consciousness and proposing happen these next days home with the family. Shortly after, it has been Quique Setién, trainer of the first Barcelona team, the one who has headed to the internauts with a message in a very similar tone to the of the Croatian.

The technician culé regretted to have not been able to go to train in his usual routine since it was appointed successor of Ernesto Valverde in the bench of the Camp Nou, although it recognised that now it is the moment to be responsible in front of the difficult situation.
