Calendar of FC Barcelona

Wearing the Brazil shirt with the number ten printed on the back is not a privilege that any footballer receives. Raphinha has been chosen for this during this national team break. He debuted it with a great goal from a free kick against Venezuela, but the match ended 1-1 after Vinicius missed a penalty. In the second match, against Uruguay, the result was repeated and the Barça attacker saw a yellow card.

Great goal from a free kick against Venezuela

Brazil had the first match of the month of November against Venezuela. He played it as a visitor, at the Monumental Stadium of Maturín. Fourth in the standings, the 'Canarinha' were looking to win to get closer to the top of the table. To do this, he gave the number ten shirt to the fittest player on his team: Raphinha.

The Barça striker, positioned as a playmaker, opened the season by scoring the first goal. A free kick, from the left corner of the area, scored powerfully by the goalkeeper's stick. The wood helped make the Porto Alegre player's shot absolutely unstoppable.

The Brazilian footballers faced the tunnel to the locker room with the result 0-1 in their favor. However, after the locker room, Telasco Segovia managed to tie the game in the 46th minute. Vinicius had the opportunity to tip the score towards his team with a penalty when the hour mark had already passed. However, Rafael Romo rejected a poorly executed maximum penalty. Thus, the tie remained on the scoreboard.

A gray match against Uruguay

After the setback against Venezuela, Brazil had to take flight against Uruguay, a team they have not beaten in an official match since 2021. Although the statistics dictate a better match for the Cariocas, football is not about numbers. The 'Canarinha' shot 10 times, but only 3 were on goal. On the other hand, the Uruguayans shot 4 times and 2 were on target. The fact is that both scored a single goal, Fede Valverde opened the scoring and Gerson saved the furniture in favor of the 'green-yellow'.

Raphinha had a good game, but was unable to make a difference. Although he made 5 key passes, he did not manage to complete more than 1 dribble of the 5 attempted nor did he send any of the 4 shots he tried on goal.
