The Barça Legends will return to action next April, with what will be the second match in history for the blaugrana legends in India. On Sunday, April 6th, the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai will host a new edition of the Classic between Barça and Real Madrid, starting at 15:30, Spain time. Once again, the team led by Albert Ferrer will face their eternal rival for the fourth time in the 2024/25 season.

Previously, the Barça legends defeated Madrid in the Classic held in Doha (Qatar) on November 28, 2024. The match ended in a draw (2-2), with goals from Juan Pablo Sorín and Ronaldinho for the culés. In the penalty shootout, the victory went to the blaugrana team. On December 15, both teams faced each other again in Tokyo (Japan), with Barça winning 2-1. Javier Saviola and Fernando Sanz, in an own goal, scored for the Catalans.

What surprises will the upcoming Classics of Barça Legends bring?

And, before the trip to India, the Barça Legends will play another match in Puerto Rico on Sunday, March 23 at the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium. This Classic will take place at 22:00 Barcelona time (17:00 local time) and will feature the debut of David Villa. In December, Andrés Iniesta and Xavi Hernández made their debuts, while the Brazilian Romário also made his debut in another charity match held in Brazil.

Barça Legends is a program created by the club in 2016 to, in addition to integrating former players of the blaugrana team into a collaboration project with the club, contribute to the globalization of the Can Barça brand, promoting the culé values and the importance of honoring its figures. During their previous visit to India, Albert Ferrer's team thrashed Mohun Bagan BC, a team of local stars (0-6). The match took place on September 29, 2018.
