The social network 'X' continues to leak the designs of the blue and garnet kit for the upcoming season. On Saturday, the account '@memorabilia1899' published what would be the third jersey of FC Barcelona for 2025/26, which stands out for a salmon pink color and a very sober print, along with several dark blue details that include the sponsors and the club's crest.
The jersey has a base design reminiscent of Nike's iconic Total-90 collection, launched a couple of decades ago. The collar and very thin lines on the front are the most prominent details of the jersey. The American multinational has been releasing several products to commemorate this collection, including the official ball of the Premier League for the second half of the 2024/25 season.
Nike will bet on pink again for the third kit
The last time Nike used pink in one of Barça's alternative kits was in 2020/21. That year, the shade was much stronger, with turquoise and black details on the collar and sleeves. A year earlier, in 2019/20, they also opted for a much paler pink, very similar to the salmon leaked for the upcoming season.
That year, the jersey featured several details in a reddish tone to depict the well-known Eixample of the Catalan Diagonal avenue. Unlike the design leaked by '@memorabilia1899', that season Barça also used pink in their shorts. In 2024/25, however, they will opt for dark blue, reminiscent of the combination used in 2009/10 with the orange-toned jersey.
