Tebas on Bartomeu: "He ratifies his ignorance in the football industry"

Josep María Bartomeu soprendió to all after announcing the resignation to his charge like president of the FC Barcelona this Tuesday, after five years of mandate and to consequence of the big disapproval by part of the partners and fans culé, those who saw the disaster of his team, in the terrains of game and in the administrative area under his orders. For the welfare of the club, Bartomeu decided to abandon the presidency, but no without before announce that the Managerial Board had approved the Monday the requirements for the participation in a future Superliga European, in case that it finish carrying out.

The news generated more surprise that the same resignation. The Barça would participate in the championship that begins to organise and that would begin in the month of September of the 2022, as long as it ratify the decision in the Assembly. Bartomeu expressed that it was a key "news for the economic future of the club", message that was not very received by one of the maximum opponents to the competition, Javier Thebes, president of LaLiga Santander.

Justo after the announcement of Bartomeu, Thebes took his account of Twitter to express the dissatisfaction by the bomb that had launched Bartomeu in his last day like president of the FC Barcelona. The mandator wrote that "unlucky Bartomeu, announcing the last day the participation in a competition 'ghost', that would be the ruin for the Barcelona, and ratifies his ignorance in the industry of the football. A hard farewell

The relation between Javier Thebes and Josep María Bartomeu never was good, but yes cordial. With this last message of farewell, the president of LaLiga leaves to see his dissatisfaction with the decision that took the ex Managerial Board blaugrana that, in his opinion, will be the ruin of the Barcelona. Anyway, the participation still has to be ratified in the Assembly, but the safest is that the Barça finish participating in a competition that does not like him to the mandators of the national and continental competitions.

This was not the first time that Javier Thebes has showed against of the project of the Superliga that, in principle, would gather to the 18 better clubs of the old continent. In previous months, the president characterised the idea like a project of "bar of bar" that would suppose a lot of economic damages to the own organisers and to the entities that go it to fund "if it is that they exist". Of acurdo to Thebes "the authors of this idea show a serious ignorance of the football and of the market of audiovisual rights".
