Barça pronounce on the crisis against the coronavirus

The propagation of the coronavirus follows causing an enormous sanitary crisis, that irremediablemente has hit in the economy. In the world of the sport also has had affectation, since they have detained the competitions and the clubs have lost million euros. In front of the situation, the FC Barcelona​ took in his day a series of preventive measures of which this Friday has done assessment.

The Managerial Board of the Barcelona entity, ​​gathered this Friday telemáticamente in ordinary session, has treated on the affectations that the crisis of the coronavirus is causing in his regular activity. Later, it has issued an official communiqué explaining the points of this meeting to distance and evaluating the situation of the current crisis.

The preventive measures

In the first place, they evaluated the preventive measures taken by the directive. "The Board has done upsetting in the importance to having taken the necessary preventive measures, going further, even, of the recommendations and orders that, later, effected from the diverse authorities, always with the aim to avoid to the maximum the contagion of the illness and to protect the health of all the personnel, sportive and no sportive, of the Entity", explained the communiqué.

Besides, it did special upsetting in that the club was still in all moment the orders of the authorities. "In fact, from the first moment the Club put to the service of the sanitary authorities to fulfil and enforce all the indications that did us arrive, and like this have done it up to now", added.

Effects of the crisis

The club also explained that it will try to minimise the negative economic effects of the stop in the world of the sport. "It is evident that this crisis has a very negative impact in all the industry of the football ​​and of the sport in general, and that the Club has the obligation to be ready to face all the possible stages. Therefore this Friday the Managerial Board, in exercise of his responsibility, has analysed the situation and has done a first approximation to different stages and possible measures to take with the aim to minimise all the economic affectations", prayed the note.

On the other hand, it detailed also that the Barça is still in contact with the rest of clubs and with the international sportive organisms. "The Club is in permanent contact with the big European clubs, through the ECA and of the LFP, as well as with the leagues and the federations of the rest of professional and amateur sports, to share this analysis, and the possible measures to apply. In this sense, considers positive that the UEFA and the CONMEBOL have taken the decision to postpone a year the Eurocopa and the Glass America, in profit of the criterion to make possible the ending of all the competitions of clubs", added.

Call to the prudence

As it already did recently in the social networks, the Barça went back to ask prudence. "On the other hand, conscious that we are in a moment critic of the emergency, the Board goes back to do a call to all the people of the Barça and, by extension, to all the citizenship, so that it remain home. Right now the most important is to guarantee the health of the people, and therefore remain home is not an option, is an obligation. In this sense, the Board wants to express his gratitude to the technicians and sportsmen of the Club that these days have supported, by means of his actions, to the campaign of awareness, asking to all to remain home", communicated.

The note finished commanding spirits to all the affected by the pantemia. "Finally, the Board wants also send all his support to the people that are suffering this contagion and his consequences, and transmit an explicit gratitude to the workers and hard-working that guarantee the supply of all the basic services and, especially, to all the sanitary professionals of the network asistencial that, putting in risk his health, work untiringly to protect the one of the group of the citizenship", finalised.
