"The enemy is out": Eduard Romeu explains the reasons for his departure from Barça

This Thursday the barcelonismo has woken up with a news that anybody expected: the renunciation of the economic vice-president of the club. Eduard Romeu, that was commissioned of the accounts of the FC Barcelona from the arrival of Joan Laporta to the presidency in the summer of 2021, has decided to step to the side, as as it announced the own Barcelona club by means of a communiqué.

After this decision, so much Romeu like Laporta have appeared in press conference to explain in front of the media and the fans culé the reasons of this resignation, adding besides how the director is leaving his work at the head of the economy culé. "Be economic vice-president of the Barça has been an honour. I want to appreciate to all by his dedication, to the partners, to all by the help. And also to the means, have felt me very very treated", commented initially Eduard.

The employer of 55 years also has wanted to be clear when ensuring that "the work this done, the economic team will finish to adjust the 200M of euros that the club came losing in the past", ensured. "The crowbars have helped us to win time", added Romeu, the one who besides explained that "prpers have worked in the Barça gives you an incredible recognition. The priority was the Barça, but sometimes the situations change", sustained.

The Barça wants to avoid controversies in front of this change

"They have been 2 years and half intense in the club, was to 'full' to the Barça. Of the club do not earn. By what have to begin projects, and begin it slope. Of equal way, Romeu wanted to move away cual controversial when signalling that "the enemy is was. We have not left to try it, have not yielded, are in a very favourable situation", puntualizó.

"To see a big Barça, need still of complex decisions. But still it remains this full stop to arrive, will follow the leaf of route, with the same strength", analysed Eduard Romeu, the one who now will begin some personal projects. "It does not like me leave the things half, angered me a lot when they lost split because there are a lot of euros at stake. We act with the responsibility that touched, went a very complicated day, asked you that you put it to me easy (to Laporta) and put it to me easy. We thrill us, but at the end the Barça is a feeling", signalled.
