The uncertainty came to an end with the resignation of Josep Maria Bartomeu, for the presidency of the FC Barcelona. From now, a Managing Commission will do charge of the entity blaugrana until this have a new president. In his last speech, further to criticise to the Generalitat and try escusarse, also launched a last bomb: the creation of the Superliga European.

It is not the first time that listens speak of the Superliga European; in fact, Aleksander Ceferin, president of the UEFA, maximum European organisation of football, already did his statements in this regard. Also Javier Thebes, president of LaLiga Santander, positioned against of the creation of the tournament and described as it "competition ghost".

"I can announce that yesterday we approve the requests to form part of a Superliga European. The decision to play the competition will have to be ratified by the next Assembly", went the literal words of Josep Maria Bartomeu, that put end to the rumours of the new competition affirming his existence and showing that it already is under way.

"We can say proudly that we are the best club of the world in value. We have achieved it by in front of big tycoons and states, keeping the club in hands of the partners. The Superliga European of clubs will guarantee that the club keep on being of the partners", commented the ex-president of the group barcelonista after announcing his renunciation to the charge.

The Superliga European takes form

The FC Barcelona is not the first team that has confessed to participate in the Superliga European. It will be an enclosed competition, without turning away to the rest of national leagues. The creators consider that the meetings between teams of the same level, will suppose a change in the panorama football; as well as in the audiovisual world and regarding expectancy in the stadiums.

The creation of a competition of a so big magnitude is a strong catchword for the big European clubs; in fact, as it has informed the media 'Mark', some teams already would be moving, to the margin of the institutions, in search of the creation of an able structure to give form to the Superliga.
