During the last weeks, has done evident the brecha that there is between the players of the FC Barcelona and the technical body directed by Quique Setién, that arrived to the team the past month of January to substitute to the that headed Ernesto Valverde. The Txingurri was a very wanted trainer in the changing room and his course was not easy to accept for some of the footballers.
It is thus that Quique Setién and his assistants did not have an easy entrance to the changing room of the FC Barcelona, that as we have said always was contrary to the dismissal of Ernesto Valverde. Besides, the rigid methods of the santanderino and of the rest of his technical body did not finish to fit inside the team, in addition to the revolution that tried to implant in the diagram of game.
But if there is something that still added tension between the technical body and the players was the figure of Eder Sarabia, second trainer and right hand of Quique Setién. Especially because his intensity and his forms -sometimes, it is necessary to say it, disproportionate- did not like to the 'heavy weights', that felt uncomfortable by his presence.
The situation burst in the Classical of Santiago Bernabéu, in which it showed in the television images of the own Eder Sarabia directing of bad forms to the footballers and complaining constantly of his actions. Since, his figure began to be very argued in the changing room and the tension and disapproval of some players with him did evident.
The clearest example was the one who could see in the stadium of Balaídos does some weeks, that sucedió during the second stop by hydratation of the party against the Celtic of Vigo. Eder Sarabia headed to Leo Messi and the Argentinian not even looked him to the face and, much less, listen him. And the captain of the FC Barcelona is not the only player of the dissatisfied staff with him, but there is quite a lot of more.
Nevertheless, the 'war' between players and technicians will have to have his truce in front of the ambitious challenge to win the Champions League, the only title at stake for a FC Barcelona that does not want to remain in white. Eder Sarabia also knows it and thus it has written in his account of Twitter a message in sound of peace: "difficult Moments that serve to learn and go back with more illusion and conviction that never to by the importantísimo challenge of the Champions League". We expect that the truce last.
