RCD Espanyol declined the coaches' photo prior to the derby against FC Barcelona

This Wednesday contested the derbi Catalan between the FC Barcelona and the RCD Espanyol in the Camp Nou and, as each season, expected the traditional photographic session of trainers in the previous day to the party. Nevertheless, the group blanquiazul declined the event by problems of diary, according to the informations advanced by 'PericosOnline'.

It is thus that could not see the traditional image between Quique Setién and Rufete. To have produced, both had premièred this act, since in the first turn any of the two was training to FC Barcelona or RCD Espanyol, respectively. In the meeting of the first turn, contested the past month of January, went Ernesto Valvede and Abelardo Fernández those who did the photography.

Whims of the destination, both finish being destituidos like consequence of the results: Ernesto Valverde finish ceased shortly after this photographic session, specifically after the defeat in the Supercopa of Spain; whereas Abelardo Fernández was sacked of form much more recent, the past month of June, being Rufete the fourth technician of the RCD Espanyol this season.

In the previous press conference to the party between the blanquiazules and the FC Barcelona, Rufete also answered to why did not carry out the photographic session. "It has been a question of logistics, has not been by another thing", ensured, cutting, the technician of the RCD Espanyol. Although of course, the wear of the technician and the bad situation in which the pericos arrived to the derbi could have propiciado that this cancelled the session.

A derbi atypical

It did a lot of years that the RCD Espanyol did not play a derbi in some so complicated conditions. The group blanquiazul is virtually team of Second Division and, of not winning against the FC Barcelona, would be it of mathematical form. "Our motivations are two. We go to play a derbi. We are in a practically definite situation and have to take us like aim defend what is the RCD Espanyol. The player knows it and have spoken it. The attitude and the forms are innegociables", said Rufete.

Curiously, the FC Barcelona could mantar to the RCD Espanyol to Second Division, a situation that remembers to the one of the 'Tamudazo' of 2007, but to the reverse. "I remember the word 'Tamudazo' and this situation. I do not want to inspire to anybody with this. The only that attempt is to convince to the players. We are people and footballers and have to give it everything in the context in which we are", sentenced Rufete.
