The tight schedule this season has led Hansi Flick to come off the bench to ration out the squad's efforts and reduce physical strain. So far, the German coach has used 21 players in the seven games that the Barça squad has played this season, but only two have played the entire game: Raphinha and Jules Koundé.

Both the Brazilian and the Frenchman have been on the pitch for the full 90 minutes of each of Barça's games this season. For the Barça coach, both players are 'untouchable', and they have responded on the field: The Porto Alegre native has five goals and three assists in seven games, while the right back has one goal and one assist, being a real 'wall' in defence.

Will they come off the bench against Getafe?

This coming Wednesday, FC Barcelona will host Getafe at Montjuïc just three days after visiting Villarreal, a match in which Raphinha and Koundé did not come off the pitch. Flick activated the rotations at La Cerámica and it is expected that he will repeat the plan against the blue-and-whites, so both the forward and the full-back could rest for the first time this season.
