Fermín López's wish for the continuity of Xavi Hernández at Barça
Fermín López offered some statements to 'RTVE' in which he spoke about the improvement of FC Barcelona in recent weeks and the departure of Xavi Hernández when this season ends
The FC Barcelona has changed his dynamics in LaLiga in this last month and have achieved 'reduce' to eight the distance with the Real Madrid and two with the Girona to keep 'alive' in the fight by the domestic title to fault of twelve days so that it finish the season. The player of 20 years offered some statements recently to 'RTVE' in which it has spoken on the mejoría that has had the team in these weeks, aiming that it is the way that has to follow the Barça to the end of season if they want to litigate by the titles that are still in game: "Now we are playing good parties, are in good form, have to follow like this and compete to the end".
The midfield player also has pronounced on the reasons that carried to Xavi Hernández to take the decision to put an end to his stage in the bench, confessing that he would prefer that it followed to the control in the 2024/2025: "The course of Xavi? It has been a personal decision and he thinks that is the suitable. Xavi had confidence in me from the beginning and of course want that it remain ".
The youngsters 'ask' to Xavi
Fermín López has not been the only that has manifested publicly that would prefer that Xavi remain in the bench. Especially the more youngsters have benefited of the opportunities that has given them in these last months and the confidence inagotable. Fermín, Pau Cubarsí and Lamine Yamal have been the canteranos that more minutes have added in this season and will be a factor that, probably, will prevail without mattering who was the attendant to carry the reins of the team in the next season.
