Two players remain firm in their position of rejecting any maneuver by the club to place them on the market. FC Barcelona is weighing the situation, since it needs important sales to receive useful income and thus be able to move in the transfer market

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The financial situation of FC Barcelona causes the Blaugrana to consider trying to make some important sales, all with the aim of receiving financial income. The money could be used to sign new figures such as Nico Willams and Dani Olmo. In that sense, the club chaired by Joan Laporta has been probing two important players for some time to analyze whether they are willing to be offered on the market, although the response from both has closed the door to any possibility.

Raphinha and Frenkie de Jong reject any maneuver by the Catalan institution to place them on the market. The two stars even informed those around them not to have conversations with Barça in this regard. Both players are important for Barça, especially the Dutchman, but now for the club they are two expendable players. In the case of the Brazilian, if Nico and Olmo arrived he would not have a place, while Arkel's player is no longer so needed due to the presence of Gündogan, Pedri, soon Gavi, perhaps the aforementioned Olmo and even the midfielder who would surely arrive if he came out.

Raphinha does not want to go to Saudi Arabia

Raphinha has received offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia, but the player refuses to leave. Al Hilal is one of the most interested and in one of their offers they would be willing to pay 100 million with variables included. Likewise, FC Barcelona cannot do anything with the Dutch midfielder, since the player has been injured for more than three months.

Frenkie de Jong's performance has not been as expected and his contract ends in 2026. For this reason, Joan Laporta and Deco want to get rid of him as soon as possible if he does not renew by accepting a significant reduction in his salary, which right now is the second highest after Lewandowski's. It should be remembered that this is not the first time they have tried to get rid of him, since two summers ago he was on the verge of leaving for Manchester United, but finally rejected the proposal. It will be necessary to see if any of them change their minds, but the club believes less and less in their ability to convince them.
