The future of Leroy Sané could take an unexpected turn in the summer of 2025. The German international's contract ends in June, which means he will have complete freedom to negotiate with any club starting next Wednesday, January 1. Surprisingly, FC Barcelona would be in the plans of the Bayern Munich player, who has already scored a couple of goals against the Catalans while wearing the Bavarian shirt.
According to information leaked by the English portal 'CaughtOffside', the 28-year-old winger would prioritize an offer from Barça over the possibility of returning to the Premier League. The '10' spent four seasons at Manchester City, coinciding with Pep Guardiola's arrival in the summer of 2016. In 2020, he moved to the Munich team for 49 million euros, 3 'million' less than what the 'citizens' paid Schalke 04 for his transfer.
In his four years in Manchester, Sané scored 39 goals and provided 43 assists in 135 official matches. Although he was never indisputable for Guardiola, the player from Essen left a good impression in England.
