Valverde, a good trainer... And fan to the photography

The new Barcelona trainer has an artistic facet little known and that five years ago went out to the light with an exhibition of photos inaugurated in the gallery Ileana Tounta of Athens. Valverde Trained in that moment to the Olympiacos and made public his big fans further of the football.

"Had thought that, when it withdrew me of the football like player, would devote me to the photography. But at the end I did me trainer", explained then Valverde. A hobbie very interesting that allows him desconectar, especially on holiday.

The "Txingurri" completed his studies in the Institut d'Estudis Fotografics of Catalonia (IEFC) while it played in Barcelona like Barcelona and afterwards like parakeet, publishing portraits of his mates of plantel in several newspapers.

His period heleno was a time so that Valverde took refuge in the photography without his family, that remained in Spain. In 2013 had the honour to see published 'Half Time', an extensive photographic work with his best creations of the hand of "The Publishing Factory".

It treated of 66 photographies in black and white that Valverde took between 2004 and 2012 and that portray his surroundings was and inside the terrain of game, going further of the purely documentary and trascending the reflection on the scenes and characters inmortalizados in his melancholic photographies.
