It's just a matter of time before Vitor Roque says goodbye to his brief spell at FC Barcelona. Although Sporting de Portugal is the best placed to sign him, the player's agent has met with Betis about a possible stay in Spain
Vitor Roque's future could be close to being known. The FC Barcelona board wants to resolve the matter this week and there are already several fronts open to facilitate his departure from Barcelona. The Brazilian striker arrived at the Catalan team in January 2023 taking advantage of the salary gap opened by Gavi's injury, but he has not been registered for this new season.

In addition, their tentative offer of 20 million plus variables is close to what the Blaugrana board wants, so they are the top favourites to secure his services.
On the other hand, sources close to the club indicate that Roque's entourage sees Betis as a possible destination for the Brazilian, who wants to continue playing in La Liga. This would not be a priority for the Catalans, because they know that this club can only aspire to a loan. Deco has already met with the forward's agent, André Cury, to find the best solution to this problem.
However, according to information from 'Jijantes', Cury and the player's father met on August 19 with a Betis delegation in Barcelona to find out first-hand what they can propose. The Catalan club wants to close this matter this week in order to focus its efforts on signing Dani Olmo, who is impatient to play, and, of course, negotiating the possible departure of Ilkay Gündogan.
