The debt in the short term that concerns to the Barça: will be able to pay 400 millions?

The FC Barcelona finds in a critical situation, needs urgently an economic restructuring to save the accounts. The managing commission of Carles Tusquets follows fixing the discount of the mass salarial in the table of negotiation. On the other hand, the costs every time are more, whereas the income go in decadence.

However, in spite of the high wages of the first team, the most worrisome for the Barcelona in these moments is the debt to short and on a long-term basis, to which obligatoriamente has to answer . The ex economic vice-president, Jordi Moix, had informed in his moment that exists a total debt of 820 million euros and in the short term have to pay some 400 millions before August of the 2021.

"The quantity that has to will compensate partly to the 332 millions that the club has to earn. The net debt on 30 June 2020 was of 488 million euros, but taking into account the investments made in the development of the Espai Barça, that is of 109 millions, the debt adjusted according to the statutes is of 379", revealed Jordi Moix.

This money that has to be given back, answers to credits asked to banking entities and to the payment of several signings that credit on hire purchase. But everything indicates that the club will need a renegociación of the debt, by not being able to have the necessary liquidity for this date.

Alarming panorama for the Barça

The situation every time return more complicated for the Barcelona, in this 2020 no longer have income of museum, entrances neither official products. In addition to the renegociación of the sponsors and sales of important players that have gone out without hardly do box; Ivan Rakitic, Rafinha Alcántara, Arturo Vidal or Luis Suárez.

In front of this context, does not see a light of hope in the Barcelona club, the only form is to postpone the payment, and of this will have to do manager the new managerial board. By the moment, the managing commission only can reduce the mass salarial, without descartar the exit of some player in January.
