FC Barcelona has prepared for next Friday, November 29th, as part of the commemoration of the club's 125th anniversary, a series of initiatives to commemorate a significant date in the rich history of the Catalan entity. In this sense, as reported in 'Relevo', a completely new issue for Barça will apparently be revealed.

According to the mentioned source, Barcelona will present a new mascot whose name will be announced during the gala. It is worth noting that this mascot has not been designed by illustrators, but by a group of Catalan graphic designers who work in some of the world's most prominent audiovisual companies.

It is also mentioned that the mascot's design will be available in both digital and physical formats. Likewise, an interactive presentation is being prepared for its unveiling, which will bring 'life' to this new character.

The design of this mascot will be completely different from 'Clam'

It is important to emphasize that this mascot will not follow an abstract design like 'Clam', the mascot created for the centenary that was not very successful upon its launch. Instead, this new emblem will be a character representing the entire history of the club and will be present in Barcelona's various disciplines' commitments, with the option to leverage its image through 'merchandising' products.
