FC Barcelona will make public on Monday, October 7, the roadmap they have designed to return in a staggered manner to the Spotify Camp Nou in this 2024/25 season. The announcement will be made at a press conference that will take place at the Auditori 1899, carried out by the vice president of the Institutional Area of the club and head of the Espai Baça, Elena Fort.
According to the newspaper 'SPORT', the club will not reveal the specific dates of the return to the Blaugrana fiefdom, but it will reveal the plan for the return to the stadium for members in detail until 2026, when the venue is fully operational. In principle, the idea of the entity is to return at the end of January or beginning of February.
The scenarios Barça is considering
Barça will only play one LaLiga EA Sports match at home in January, against Valencia on 25-26 of that month, this being the first tentative date of the return to the Camp Nou. However, on Wednesday 29 January, the Catalans close the group stage of the Champions League at home against Atalanta, and UEFA requires them to play this entire round of the competition in the same stadium, so they will have to play that match at Montjuïc.
For this reason, at Can Barça they are analysing the idea of extending the return to February and completing the month of January at the Estadi Olimpic Lluís Companys, culminating this stage in the last match of the league phase of the Champions League. In any case, the truth is that the return to the Spotify Camp Nou will take place 100% this season, since the contract with Ajuntament de Barcelona expires on 31 March.
