The agreement between FC Barcelona and Nike is now a reality, the latest information indicates that all the details have been finalised and only the signature is needed to make it official. The new contract will be an extension of the current one, which expires in 2028, extending it for ten more years, until 2038. The official act will be held after the Assembly that must approve the 2024-25 budget, in which the agreement is already included.

The first figures indicate that the American multinational will pay Barça around 120 million euros per year. In addition, the agreed renewal bonus could be around 125 million euros. This financial injection will allow the club to balance the accounts for the year and recover the longed-for economic normality, providing the Catalan entity with sufficient financial muscle to comply with the 1:1 rule, register players and face the next transfer market normally.

Finally, FC Barcelona and Nike have managed to get back on track with a relationship that began in 1998, but which had deteriorated dangerously in recent months. Barça and Nike will thus continue to work together until 2038.
