Good news comes from the Can Ruti Hospital. Lamine Yamal's father, Mounir Nasraoui, gave her first words after the brutal attack that could have cost her her life last Wednesday. The progenitor of the Barça star was stabbed last August 14 at night in Mataró hours after getting into a fight in the Rocafonda neighborhood, and was admitted to the sanatorium with a serious prognosis.

Fortunately, Mounir was quickly stabilized and is now out of danger. This was confirmed by Lamine's father himself through his Instagram account, where he published a story with a reassuring and grateful message. "Thank you all for your encouragement. I'm better now, a big hug for everyone," wrote Yamal's father, accompanying the statement with a song by the popular singer Morad.

According to the first information about the stabbing, Mounir Nasaroui was walking through the Rocafonda neighborhood and water was thrown at him from a balcony, a fact that angered the 38-year-old man, starting a small altercation that forced the intervention of the municipal police. Although the dispute did not escalate, at night three individuals attacked Lamine's father by surprise in the parking lot, without him being able to defend himself.

The witnesses who witnessed the stabbing offered their statements and the description of the assailants matched the profiles of those involved in the first incident that took place in the neighborhood. In just an hour and a half, the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested the three men, who are still in the police station in Mataró, and this Thursday they arrested another of those involved in the attack, all accused of attempted murder.

Lamine visited him in the hospital

After completing the morning training of the squad led by Hansi Flick normally, where his teammates supported him from the beginning, Lamine Yamal traveled to the hospital center to visit his father accompanied by security personnel from Barça. The prognoses are positive and it is expected that Mounir Nasraoui can return home soon.
