Real Madrid have not started well and are beginning to transmit very worrying sensations to their fans. The Whites 'failed' again against Las Palmas (1-1) and are now 4 points behind FC Barcelona in the standings

Real Madrid have not yet learned their lesson from their poor start to LaLiga and in Las Palmas they made the same mistakes they have been making up until now. The Whites, once again, started off slow and with less tension than their rivals and they paid for it very early on, in the 5th minute. The Canaries connected well on the left, they gained ground against the passivity of the Merengues and in the end McBurnie saw Moleiro near the area and the talented midfielder got rid of Tchouaméni and Militao with two touches and then put it with his left foot out of Courtois' reach to make it 1-0.

The islanders, much more involved, were superior in the first part of the first half and even had another clear chance to make it 2-0. McBurnie received a good ball inside the area, but he did not finish well and Militao could have touched it and ended up clearing the ball 'in extremis'. Luis Carrión's men warned again and made it clear that if Ancelotti's men did not put more intensity into the game and start playing football, the night was going to get even more difficult.

Madrid, however, did not improve much and did not get close to scoring until the 25th minute, and it was after a powerful free kick from Fede Valverde that was firmly saved by Cillessen. But the Whites did not react, they continued without creating anything and had to wait 13 minutes until the next opportunity, which was a strong long-range shot from Rüdiger. The Dutch goalkeeper, formerly of Barça, made another great save to prevent the goal from the German centre-back. Las Palmas continued to hold on well and those from the capital, clumsy with the ball and without ideas, saw the first half end with a 1-0 in favour of the home team.

Vinicius equalised from the penalty spot, but it didn't prevent another 'stumble'

At half-time, Ancelotti said enough and brought on Rodrygo and Fran García for Brahim and Mendy. The Merengues improved and began to reach the opponent's goal with a little more clarity, although their evident lack of football continued to be a problem. Goes and Mbappé tested Cillessen again, but the former Barça player, very confident throughout the match, again prevented the Madrid team from equalising.

The tie was resisting for the Madrid players until the referee saw a handball by Álex Suárez inside the area with his arm extended. Vinicius took charge of taking the penalty and scoring the maximum penalty to equalise the duel in the 69th minute. Madrid should have taken advantage of the momentum of the goal to go for the second, but without ideas everything gets complicated and the impetus shown by the white team was not enough to achieve a new goal that would turn the match around.

Real Madrid tried until the end, but they couldn't even create a clear chance in the final minutes. The team from the capital is without spark, without football and without stars that make the difference in these types of moments of the season. Vinicius has started very badly, Mbappé is still not getting going and Ancelotti is not finding the key with either the XI, the game plan or the changes. FC Barcelona is already +4 and if this continues the difference could widen even further this weekend.
