The specialized market portal, 'Transfermarkt', has released the list of the 10 most valuable clubs in the world. Real Madrid leads the ranking, while Barça occupies a surprising 7th place

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Once the summer transfer market has finished in the main European leagues, the specialized transfer portal, 'Transfermarkt' has released the list of the 10 most valuable clubs in the world at present. This ranking is led by Real Madrid, which has placed itself in first place in the table with a valuation of 1.34 billion euros, while FC Barcelona, valued at 875 million, occupies seventh place in the ranking.

The value of the Blaugrana team has increased by 32 million compared to the end of June thanks to the incorporation of Dani Olmo, valued at 60 'kilos' to the squad directed by Hansi Flick. In addition, the definitive explosion of Lamine Yamal, valued at 120 million euros, has compensated for the drop in price of Pedri, who at one point reached 100 million, and Frenkie de Jong, who reached 90 million, but who, after their respective injuries, are now estimated at 80 and 70 million, respectively.

Above Barça are Manchester City and Arsenal, who complete the top 3 of the list. The Mancunians, despite suffering the loss of Julián Álvarez, valued at 90 million euros, occupy second place in the ranking with a market value of 1,260 million, while the 'gunners', after incorporating Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino and Raheem Sterling, register a valuation of 1,117 million.

The Premier League dominates the list

The Premier League 'dominates' the ranking, and behind the 'skyblues' and the Londoners, is Chelsea, which due to its large payroll took fourth place in the ranking with a value of 960.20 million euros. The fifth place belongs to Bayern Munich, an entity that made a large investment during the summer and whose squad is valued at 943.65 million euros.

In sixth position is Liverpool, valued at 923 million euros, while below Barça, in eighth place, is Paris Saint-Germain, which has noticed the departures of Kylian Mbappé and Manuel Ugarte and whose value is around 874.70 million euros. Finally, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur complete the ranking with a valuation of 857.35 million and 770.50 'kilos' respectively.
