CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2024/25
The rivals left for Barça in Champions: schedule of the last two matches
Barcelona is in second place in the Champions with two matches remaining. The Blaugrana team would only need to draw one of them to secure their direct qualification to the round of 16
With the victory against Borussia Dortmund (2-3), FC Barcelona has mathematically secured a spot among the 24 best teams in the UEFA Champions League 2024-25 and is almost guaranteed a place among the top eight. To achieve this, Hansi Flick's team only needs to earn one point from the six available.
In matchday 7, the culés must visit Benfica (January 21). At the moment, the Portuguese team is in 15th place with 10 points. A week later, on January 29, the culé team will close the league phase in Montjuïc against Atalanta. The Italians are in 13th place with 11 points. A draw in either of these matches would be enough to finish the group stage within the TOP-8 and thus avoid having to play the playoff for access to the round of 16 in February.
