Getafe, Almería, Osasuna... The possible rivals of FC Barcelona in the Copa round of 16

Hansi Flick's FC Barcelona is already waiting for an opponent in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey 2024-25. This Saturday, the azulgrana team decisively defeated UD Barbastro (0-4) with goals from Eric García, Robert Lewandowski (double), and Pablo Torre to start 2025 on the right foot and end a streak of two consecutive defeats in LaLiga that closed 2024.

The big surprise is in pot D (Second Federation), following Pontevedra's thrashing of the reigning runner-up, Mallorca (3-0). The big teams will again be visitors in the round of 16 matchups, which will take place from Tuesday, January 14 to Thursday, January 16.
