Barça starts 2025 in the same setting where they debuted last season in the Copa del Rey. Once again, the culés must visit the humble Barbastro, who last season put up a fight against the team then coached by Xavi Hernández (2-3). For the visit to Huesca, Hansi Flick's side recovers Ansu Fati, but they have a couple of injury absences (Ferran and Fort), in addition to two other absences due to the 'soap opera' regarding the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.

For now, both players are out of the azulgrana squad and without a license to compete in any competition with Barça.
