"Mbappé can win the next Ballon d'Or. Probably Haaland, Bellingham and Lamine too. They are all part of a new generation with a lot of talent and potential. But I think Mbappé will do very well," replied the Madeiran when asked about the new Real Madrid striker.

However, the fact that Cristiano mentioned Lamine among his favourites has caught the attention of fans, who have also been surprised to notice that Ronaldo 'passed' by Vinicius Jr. when mentioning possible candidates. The Brazilian's name was put on the table by Ferdinad, but far from commenting on it or agreeing, the goalscorer proceeded with his list and immediately mentioned Yamal.
