Lamine Yamal has moved to the United Arab Emirates to continue his preparation for the Supercopa de España
Lamine Yamal continues to make progress in his recovery process from the grade 1 injury of the anterior intertibio-peroneal ligament he suffered against Leganés. The player is working slowly and calmly as his priority is to avoid a relapse, although he is doing everything possible to be ready in time to help FC Barcelona in the Supercopa de España.
Meanwhile, the star from Mataró has taken advantage of the vacation granted by the coaching staff and has headed to Dubai along with his cousin Mohamed and his friend Souhaib to spend Christmas in the United Arab Emirates. However, the player is not resting and made this clear on his social media, where he shared a picture in a gym after training.
Lamine has his sights set on the Supercup
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Lamine has been undergoing a treatment with platelet-rich plasma for a week that could accelerate his return to the pitch. The forward is ruled out for the match on January 4 against Barbastro in the Copa del Rey, but he does not lose hope of being ready to play the semifinals of the Supercopa de España against Athletic Club on January 8.
For now, the only certainty is that neither the club nor the striker will take any risks with his return and, in principle, on December 29 he will return to the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper with his teammates for the return to training, although in his case he will continue to work under the supervision of the medical and recovery staff of Barça with his sights set on the clash against the Bilbao team.
