Barça has shared some images of Marc Bernal's recovery work. The player is progressing positively, although there are still 8 months until his return

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Next Friday, December 27, will mark four months since the fateful day when Marc Bernal collapsed on the pitch in Vallecas due to a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and external meniscus of his left knee. An injury that forced him to undergo surgery and made him say goodbye to the season just as it was beginning.

The midfielder had earned the trust of Hansi Flick and was set to be the starting midfielder for the German's team, but this physical setback has kept him sidelined for the last 4 months, and he still has 8 months to return to playing, although both the player and the club are working without rush and with great patience.

Bernal makes strong progress in his recovery

This has been shown by FC Barcelona through a video in which the player is seen training alongside the institution's physiotherapists. The blue and garnet entity showcased Bernal doing strength and stretching exercises that demonstrate his positive progression.

At Can Barça, they trust that his physical and muscular strength will allow him to make a proper recovery, as he is one of the club's greatest jewels for the future. However, the fans, along with Marc himself, are clear that caution is key in his rehabilitation, which is why his return to the first team's training will be handled with utmost care.
