The mass salarial of the Barça grew in 61% in alone four years!

Ferran Reverter, CEO of the FC Barcelona, presented this Wednesday the results obtained in a 'Due Diligence' that came carrying out in the last months. One of the factors that explain the difficult coyuntura economic and sportive in which today it is immersed the Barcelona club, is the management of the Board of Josep Maria Bartomeu with regard to the mass salarial of the first masculine team of football, a game that grew in 61% between the season 2016-17 and the 2020-21.

In first instance, Reverter showed a slide in which they appeared detailed the numbers. In the campaign 2016-17, the Barça had a mass salarial of 471 millions, quantity that rose to 667 in the 2017-18. To the following year, this elevated until the 722, and continued going up in the 2019-20 (759). In the last course, the wages reached the 793 'kilos', a quantity 61% elder that the 471.

Astronomical investment in four players

The CEO of the Barcelona club put like example the cases of Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Coutinho and Dembélé.
