Barça could close a sponsorship agreement with Philips

The Dutch company Philips wants to join the list of sponsors of FC Barcelona. As confirmed by 'Mundo Deportivo', the company specializing in technology has already made an offer to display its logo on the left sleeve of the shirt

Philips Seems to go seriously in his eagerness for turning into new sponsor culé. As it advances 'Sportive World', the Dutch company wants to close an agreement on a long-term basis with the FC Barcelona for lucir his logo in the left sleeve of the T-shirt of the first team and, to his time, be provider of the project Espai Barça with monitors of the mark in the new Camp Nou and the new dependencies of the club.

Regarding the T-shirt, the technological company offers an agreement by three years and half that would begin in 2 million euros by what subtracts of the 2022/23, 8 'kilos' for the 2023/24 and 10 and 12 millions for the following two seasons. In principle, these figures follow far of what Joan Laporta expects to perceive by the sponsorship of the left sleeve of the T-shirt culé (20 'kilos' annual), by what the club expects that Philips improve his initial offer in brief.

In this sense, Sergi Ricart, director of mark of the institution, is in conversations with the directors of the company with headquarters in Eindhoven to try give him green light to an agreement that would allow to the Barça do box of face to the next market of signings. Regarding the Espai Barça, the aim would be to endow of monitors the temple culé and the Palau, together with the new dependencies that includes the project.

Previously, Ricart has handled offers with companies like Polkadot, Turkish Airlines, OneFootball, Whitebit, Cupra and Link for lucir his sponsor in the sleeve of the T-shirt, but any of the proposals arrived to good port for generating a conflict of interests in some of his services with one of the 'partners' historical of the club, CaixaBank. From the end of the season 2020/21, the T-shirt of the first team has remained without sponsor secondary after the exit of Beko.

The fallido agreement with Link

To finals of October, Laporta had closed an agreement with the platform of criptomonedas Link, but a possible collision with CaixaBank shattered the negotiation, when being both platforms of payment. Previously, the club finish signing with Bimbo like sponsor of the left sleeve of the T-shirt of the Barça Femení in return of 3.5 million euros by season.
