The Camp Nou's Museum and the Barça Store are closed again because of the COVID-19

The sanitary measures by the big amount of cases of coronavirus have ocasionado that the official shop and museum of the Barça in the Camp Nou go back to close his doors

It opens a new chapter in the problems of the FC Barcelona. The backstitch of the cases of coronavirus in Spain and all Europe has caused that it limit the mobility and by consequence, close his doors a lot of establishments. For the second time, from the beginning of the pandemia, the museum and the Barça Store situated in the Camp Nou have closed temporarily, as it has confirmed the club in his website, with the aim to detain the propagation of the virus.

During the past week, the Govern of Catalonia announced a new series of measures to avoid the contagion in open and enclosed spaces, that also include the prohibition to do visits guided, as it does in the museum blaugrana. This has represented a descent of visitors in the installations of the Camp Nou. Besides, the closing perimetral of the Catalan territory and the prohibition of trips between municipalities in the weekend, has made impossible the mobility of the visitors, causing the cancellation of several reservations.

Thus, in a communiqué in his web page, the Catalan club confirmed the closing of the spaces: "The Museum of the Barça and the Barça Store of the Camp Nou will close again from this Wednesday 4 November because of the little influx of public that has registered since they went in in force the new measures of mobility in Catalonia, with the aim to detain the contagion of the Covid-19" prayed the communiqué.

Big economic losses

With the closing of the Museum and the Barça Store main, now will remain opened the shops of Passeig of Gràcia and of the Aeroport T1. Neither it is opened the one of Canaletes, that was inaugurated the past 21 February, and llevies closed from the beginning of the first State of Alarm. With this situation, the Barcelona confronts to more economic losses, by the sales of his T-shirts, mainly.

From it does months, the club has seen in the need to modify all the budgets with regard to income. In fact, at the beginning of the 2020, the managers of the 'Barça Store' calculated minimum income of one million euros by month, but has been an impossible figure to reach. Now, with the temporary closing of the shop and the museum, will have fewer economic entrances and the Barcelona will have to bet to the maximum by the on-line sales to be able to control his accounts.
