The new Espai Barça will have a cost of 1.200 million euros

During a press conference, the president of the FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, has announced a reformulation of the Espai Barça that has foreseen to initiate for the summer of the next year, and with a significantly greater investment to the established by the previous management, headed by Josep Maria Bartomeu.

For Laporta, the current situation demands changes in the initiative, that already has received the approval in the Assembly: "The project has turned into obsolete. We are it resituando, restructuring, redoing it. It is not exactly a new project but there are a lot of variations".

In accordance with the newspaper Ploughs, the estimates on the cost oscillate between the 1.200 and 1.250 million euros, that surpass widely the tope of 815 millions that had presupuestado when Bartomeu was at the top of the institution. Likewise, it will pay in a period of 25 years.

For this had a line of credit that would have to Goldman Sachs in command, and that would follow suit in the case of this initiative reformulada under the mandate of Joan Laporta. Nevertheless, the term for the payment will be of some 30 years with five of lack while they execute the works.

Already previously it had been elevated the mount to invest, initially fixed in 600 millions after the applications by part of the City council and the inhabitants of Them Corts. Of this way, will be possible that the club perceive greater income with modifications like the one of the Palau Blaugrana, whose capacity would be of 15.000 viewers.
