Lamine Yamal sent a brief Christmas greeting to the FC Barcelona fans and also revealed some of his traditions during this time, along with his goals for 2025
FC Barcelona shared Lamine Yamal's greeting for all the culé fans for the Christmas and New Year holidays. The player from Mataró wore his usual smile during a workday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, where last week he began recovering from the injury to his right ankle that prevented him from playing the last match of Barça this year, against Atlético de Madrid.

"How are you, culers? I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year", said the youth player in his message for the azulgrana networks. He also answered a fun quiz about the things he usually does during the holidays. Regarding food, he expressed his fondness for turrón, while about his plans for New Year's Eve, he confirmed that he will travel to Dubai with his family.

And, concerning his New Year's resolutions, Lamine did not hesitate to aim high with Barça: to win LaLiga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League. He also made it clear that the biggest lesson learned in 2024 was to always be positive. The '19' closed a spectacular year after winning the Eurocup with Spain and the main awards for players under 21: the Kopa trophy and the Golden Boy, in addition to being included in FIFA's ideal XI at just 17 years old.

However, the player from Mataró will start the year with the challenge of fully recovering from the right ankle injury suffered a couple of weeks ago against Leganés. Initially, Yamal will be out until mid-January, although he will work hard starting next week to try to return for the Supercopa de España. The club's priority, however, is to give him the necessary time to avoid further issues in an area where the winger has already suffered two injuries this season.
