Hansi Flick is clear: The Barça plan to crush Real Madrid again

FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will face each other again this Sunday in the Supercopa de España final (20:00 CEST), a match where both teams expect few modifications in their lineups and schemes. In this regard, Hansi Flick made clear the game plan that the azulgrana team will implement in Jeddah, highlighting the result of the last Clásico (0-4) and the team's performance in the first two months of competition.

"Of course, this is how we want to play, to be a team. We cannot compare what happened there (at the Bernabéu) with this match, but we will try to play well", the coach began, who also cleared up doubts regarding the azulgrana scheme, with high pressure from start to finish and a perfectly synchronized defense to keep their rivals offside. 

Hansi Flick will not change too much in the XI for the Clásico

"We did very well in Madrid and in the first part of the season, so there are no doubts about playing differently", Flick pointed out. In that sense, the Barça eleven will not suffer significant changes compared to the duel at the Santiago Bernabéu. Initially, the only adjustment would be the inclusion of Gavi or Dani Olmo for Fermín López, with the '6' having the most chances of being in the lineup after his good match in the 'semis' against Athletic and the inactivity of the player from Terrassa due to the issue with his registration.

The other doubt in Flick's XI is the presence of Iñaki Peña or Wojciech Szczęsny in goal. The coach clarified that the alicantino's absence against the Bilbao team was due to a disciplinary issue, so the '13' should return to the starting lineup in the final.
