FC Barcelona will be able to count on Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor for their upcoming official matches thanks to the granting of the precautionary measure by the Superior Sports Council (CSD). However, both LaLiga and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) expressed their rejection of this resolution, a stance shared by at least four clubs from the Spanish First Division, including Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla, Villarreal, and Athletic Club.

According to information leaked by 'Relevo', the reactions from the mentioned clubs were swift since Tuesday night when the 'SER' network leaked the CSD's position to grant the precautionary measure to the blue and garnet team. Among the complaints that could be filed against Barça are those of improper alignment, as they involve players whose licenses were revoked, as well as filing precautionary measures in various courts, just as Barça did days ago.

Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor can play despite LaLiga's complaints

Real Madrid, for its part, has so far stayed out of the controversy. After the Supercup semifinal, both the president of Athletic and Iñaki Williams criticized the CSD's decision, stating that "the rules must be the same for everyone". Although the ruling is not final, it allows the culés to count on Dani and Pau for any match in all competitions played by Barça.

This includes, of course, the Supercopa de España and the Copa del Rey, where the team managed by Hansi Flick must play the final and the round of 16, respectively, next Sunday the 12th and Wednesday the 15th of January. Likewise, both players will receive licenses to participate in the upcoming league matches, where Barcelona will return to action on Saturday the 18th, visiting Getafe.

The final resolution from the Council may take a maximum of three months. However, considering the speed of the ruling related to the precautionary measure, it is likely that the case will be resolved by the end of January. LaLiga and the RFEF, for their part, will also present their appeals in the coming days, as they consider the CSD's decision to rule in favor of Barça before taking into account the arguments from both organizations to be arbitrary.
