LaLiga published a video on YouTube this Thursday featuring the best goals of Vinicius Jr. in 2024. Strangely, the video was uploaded with a montage of the '7' from Real Madrid celebrating a goal against FC Barcelona

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Social media exploded this Thursday after LaLiga published an outrageous montage on YouTube to accompany a video dedicated to the best goals of Vinicius Jr. in the tournament this 2024. Inexplicably, the league uploaded a false image of 'Vini' celebrating a goal against FC Barcelona, a montage that generated outrage among the Barcelona fans, as well as among the supporters of Atlético de Madrid.

The thumbnail image of the video uploaded to YouTube showed the '7' from Real Madrid celebrating a goal, with four Barcelona players in the background lamenting the conceded goal (three of them lying on the grass). The original photograph corresponded to the goal scored by Alexander Sorloth on December 21 that gave the 'colchoneros' a 1-2 victory in Montjuïc. Instead of the Norwegian, the montage placed the Brazilian after scoring a goal this season.

LaLiga uploaded a video of Lamine to stop the criticism

In light of the huge uproar caused by the thumbnail image of the video, the league opted to take it down from YouTube, where the 8:05 minute audiovisual exceeded 22,000 views while it was available on the official channel of the tournament. Hours later, LaLiga uploaded a 5:49 minute video dedicated to Lamine Yamal with unpublished images of the Barcelona winger's time at La Masia.

The material 'LAMINE YAMAL at 12 YEARS OLD in LALIGA FC FUTURES!' surpassed 7,200 views in its first 6 hours, along with dozens of comments, many mocking the error made with the top goals of Vini. "They should have put a photo of Güler like they did with Vinicius"; and "Clearly we already know whose side LaLiga and the Boss Floren are on," were some of the comments that received the most 'likes'.
