Vinicius once again demonstrated at Mestalla that he has a serious problem. The Real Madrid player lost control and was sent off for hitting the Valencia goalkeeper

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Vinicius got desperate in Valencia, so much so that with a hook on Stole Dimitrievski, he hit him from behind. The local goalkeeper exaggerated the fall but the referee, through VAR, showed a direct red card to the Brazilian, who also lost control and had to be restrained to leave the field.

Coincidentally, the last time Vinicius was sent off was also at Mestalla in the 2022/23 season for grabbing Hugo Duro by the neck, although later the committee rescinded the red card. The Brazilian had accumulated a lot of actions deserving of expulsion. Fortunately, he finally saw his first direct red card.

Ugly gesture from Vinicius towards the Mestalla crowd

During the match, the Real Madrid winger had several altercations with the Mestalla crowd, in one of which the fans could be heard singing 'fool, fool', words to which he responded with an ugly gesture. He told them to go to the second division by making a two gesture with his hand. This is a common practice for him, as he did it weeks ago in Vallecas, and he also repeated it against Valencia in another season.
