The three FC Barcelona internationals had a gray day in Murcia during the Spain-Denmark (1-0). The winger and the Tenerife native were starters, but they were not 'fine'

Calendar of FC Barcelona

Spain defeated Denmark in Murcia on Saturday (1-0) in a day in which Lamine Yamal debuted the number '10' with La Roja. The youth started again, along with Pedri González. However, both had a rather opaque day, especially the one from Tenerife. The midfielder went from more to less and, at 62', Luis de la Fuente opted for Mikel Merino to refresh the midfield, in addition to Álex Baena (entered for Mikel Oyarzabal).

The '20' was positioned in the center, in front of Martín Zubimendi and Fabián Ruiz. With Lamine and Oyarzabal on the sides, the culé footballer shouldered the responsibility of leading La Roja's game, but the good pressure work of the Danes meant that the midfielder had little connection with his teammates. In total, Pedri barely completed 31 passes (he only missed 1), with two duels won in the same number of attempts and no shots on goal.

Lamine had no aim in the rival area

Yamal, for his part, was the most applauded from the beginning by the Murcian fans and began the match very actively on the right wing. In the 21st minute he had his first big opportunity with a left footed shot inside the area that Schmeichel sent to the corner. Just before the break, the '10' had La Roja's best chance in the first half, with a one-on-one match where he failed where he usually doesn't, finishing high past the Danish goalkeeper.

In the second half, the player from Esplugues de Llobregat had less impact on the game, but Luis de la Fuente kept him on the field until injury time. In the end, Martín Zubimendi was the hero with a volley that ended in a goal quite fortunately. Lamine had a couple of shots on goal, with 37 of 44 passes completed (84%), 5 successful dribbles and 8 duels won (of 14). Although it was not their best night, it was undoubtedly the great attraction for the local fans. The one who was unlucky was Pau Cubarsí, as he stayed on the bench even though the coach still had one more change available.
