Mourinho makes a harsh comparison between Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams

After recently making headlines with his harsh attack on Pep Guardiola, José Mourinho is back at it with a new 'dart' of blue and claret. In the lead-up to the match between Fenerbahçe and Athletic Club in the Europa League, the Portuguese sparked controversy with comments comparing Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams.

When asked which player from the Basque team he would like to sign for his team, 'Mou' praised Williams while throwing an unnecessary 'jab' at Lamine. "People were all about Yamal, Yamal, Yamal... Later, the Portuguese made a 'wink' in a Madridista tone by stating that he would like to see the Navarrese winger at the Santiago Bernabéu. "I think he is a fantastic player and I hope he ends up in white, because I am white in Spain", he stated.

Mourinho was also questioned about his possible return to Madrid, as the sporting crisis of the whites has put Carlo Ancelotti's position in question.
